This policy explains the circumstances under which PayLux provides refunds for subscriptions and point purchases. By using PayLux, you acknowledge and agree to this Refund Policy.


1. General Refund Policy

PayLux is a digital service that provides instant delivery of points and services. Due to the immediate nature of our service, most sales are final and non-refundable. However, we understand that issues may arise, and we are committed to treating our users fairly. This policy outlines the specific circumstances under which refunds may be provided.


2. Subscription Refunds

2.1 Eligible for Refund

Within 24 Hours of Purchase:

  • You may request a full refund within 24 hours of your initial subscription purchase

  • Refund is only available if you have NOT used any PayLux features (no purchases, transfers, or withdrawals)

  • Contact us with your Discord username and transaction details

  • Refunds are processed within 3–5 business days

Technical Errors on Our End:

  • If you are charged multiple times for the same subscription due to a system error

  • If you do not receive access to your subscription tier after payment

  • If we experience a technical failure that prevents you from using paid features

  • We will investigate and issue a refund within 48 hours if our error is confirmed

2.2 NOT Eligible for Refund

Subscription fees will NOT be refunded in these cases:

  • You changed your mind after using the service

  • You upgraded/downgraded tiers (old tier not refunded)

  • Your account was terminated for violating Terms of Service

  • You cancelled but the current billing period has started

  • More than 24 hours have passed since subscription purchase

  • You have used any PayLux features (bought points, made transfers, etc.)

  • Service interruptions caused by Discord, PayPal, or your internet provider

  • You did not read the Terms of Service or Refund Policy

2.3 Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your PayPal account:

  • Cancellation stops future charges but does not refund the current period

  • You retain access until the end of your paid period

  • No pro-rated refunds for partial months

  • Your points balance remains safe and accessible after resubscribing


3. Point Purchase Refunds

3.1 Eligible for Refund

Within 24 Hours of Purchase:

  • Full refund available within 24 hours if you have NOT used, transferred, or withdrawn any of the purchased points

  • Contact support immediately.

  • Include your PayPal transaction ID and reason for refund

  • Refund processed within 3–5 business days after verification

Technical Errors on Our End:

  • Duplicate charges for the same purchase

  • You paid but did not receive your points

  • System credited wrong amount (e.g., paid for $25 but received $15 worth)

  • We will investigate and correct the error or issue a refund within 48 hours

3.2 NOT Eligible for Refund

Point purchases will NOT be refunded in these cases:

  • You changed your mind after receiving points

  • You spent, transferred, or withdrew any portion of the purchased points

  • More than 24 hours have passed since purchase

  • You sent points to the wrong recipient (transfers are final)

  • You lost points due to gambling or external activities

  • Market conditions or exchange rate changes

  • Buyer’s remorse or change of plans


4. Withdrawal Refunds

Completed withdrawals cannot be refunded or reversed. Once funds are sent to your PayPal account:

  • The transaction is final

  • Withdrawal fees are not refundable

  • You are responsible for providing the correct PayPal email

  • Funds sent to an incorrect email due to user error cannot be recovered

Failed Withdrawals: If a withdrawal fails (e.g., invalid PayPal email), your points are automatically refunded to your PayLux balance. You can then correct the issue and try again.


5. Transfer Refunds

Point transfers are final and non-refundable.

  • Once you transfer points to another user, the transaction cannot be reversed

  • Always double-check the recipient’s username before confirming

  • We cannot force recipients to return points

  • Anonymous transfers cannot be traced or reversed

Exception: If a transfer failed due to a technical error on our end (points deducted from your account but not credited to recipient), we will investigate and restore your points within 48 hours.


6. Service Interruptions and Downtime

No refunds for temporary service interruptions.

PayLux strives for high availability but cannot guarantee 100% uptime. We do not provide refunds for:

  • Scheduled maintenance (announced in advance when possible)

  • Brief outages or technical issues (less than 24 consecutive hours)

  • Downtime caused by Discord, PayPal, or third-party services

  • Internet connectivity issues on your end

Extended Outages: If PayLux is completely unavailable for 7+ consecutive days due to our fault, we will provide pro-rated subscription credits for the affected period. This does not include outages caused by Discord or PayPal.


7. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

WARNING: DO NOT FILE CHARGEBACKS

If you file a chargeback or payment dispute with PayPal without first contacting us:

  • Your account will be immediately and permanently banned

  • All remaining balance will be forfeited

  • You may be reported to Discord Trust & Safety

  • We may pursue legal action for fraud

  • You will be banned from using PayLux in the future

If you have a legitimate dispute:

  1. Contact us FIRST at [email protected]

  2. Provide detailed explanation and evidence

  3. Give us 48–72 hours to investigate

  4. We will work with you to resolve the issue fairly

Chargebacks cost us significant fees and are considered fraud if done in bad faith. Always contact us first — we want to help!


8. Refund Process and Timeline

8.1 How to Request a Refund

Email [email protected] with:

  • Subject Line: "Refund Request"

  • Your Discord username and user ID

  • PayPal transaction ID

  • Date and amount of transaction

  • Detailed explanation of why you're requesting a refund

  • Screenshots or evidence (if applicable)

  • How long ago the purchase was made

8.2 Review Process

  • We will respond to your refund request within 24–48 hours

  • We will investigate the circumstances and verify your claim

  • We may request additional information or screenshots

  • We will check if your request meets our refund policy criteria

  • Our decision is final and binding

8.3 Refund Timeline

If your refund is approved:

  • Refunds are processed within 3–5 business days

  • Refunds are issued via PayPal to your original payment method

  • You will receive a confirmation email when the refund is processed

  • Allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear in your account (depends on your bank)


9. Account Termination and Balance Forfeiture

If we terminate your account for Terms of Service violations:

  • Your remaining point balance is forfeited

  • No refunds for unused subscription time

  • No refunds for unused points

  • All transactions are final

Violations that result in balance forfeiture include:

  • Fraudulent activity or chargebacks

  • Money laundering or illegal transactions

  • Multiple account abuse

  • Harassment or threats against users or staff

  • Attempting to exploit or hack the system

If you voluntarily close your account:

  • Withdraw your balance before closing

  • Unused subscriptions are not refunded

  • Account closure is permanent and cannot be undone


10. Exceptions and Special Cases

10.1 Extraordinary Circumstances

In rare cases involving extraordinary circumstances (e.g., death of user, proven identity theft, catastrophic system failure), we may provide refunds outside of this policy at our sole discretion. Contact support with documentation.

If we are legally required to provide a refund by a court order or regulatory authority, we will comply with the order.

10.3 Good Faith

We reserve the right to provide refunds on a case-by-case basis when we believe it's the right thing to do, even if not explicitly covered by this policy.


11. Dispute Resolution

If your refund request is denied and you disagree with our decision:

We are committed to fair treatment and will genuinely consider all appeals. However, our final decision is binding per our Terms of Service.


12. Consumer Rights

Canadian Jurisdiction: PayLux operates from Alberta, Canada. This refund policy complies with Canadian consumer protection laws. Some provinces may grant additional rights.

Important Notes:

  • Digital goods are generally exempt from "cooling-off period" refund requirements

  • By purchasing, you acknowledge immediate delivery and waive any statutory right of withdrawal

  • This does not affect your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws

If you believe your statutory rights have been violated, you may contact the Alberta Consumer Affairs office or seek legal advice.


13. Changes to Refund Policy

We may update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes apply to all future transactions. We will notify users of material changes via Discord announcement or email. Your continued use of PayLux after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. Check this policy regularly for updates.


14. What You CAN Do Instead of Refunds

Rather than requesting a refund, consider these alternatives:

  • Cancel Your Subscription: Stop future charges while keeping your points

  • Withdraw Your Points: Cash out remaining balance back to PayPal (minus fees)

  • Transfer to Another User: Give your points to a friend or trusted user

  • Use Points Before Canceling: Spend or transfer points before ending subscription

  • Downgrade Tier: Switch to a lower subscription tier instead of canceling

You have full control over your points and account!
